The CFT design team implemented a system for reporting claims through a hotline 24/7. As part of the project, the Customer decided in favour of an external Call Center specialising in customer service by telephone. The task of CFT was to integrate claim reporting systems of the insurer with the system of the Call Center, receive data collected during registration, open a report in the system and send information allowing for the identification of an opened report. The solution implemented ensures that the information on new reports from the Call Center will be transferred directly to the claim handling system. A person who is calling and reporting a claim is assigned a number in the system and is provided with the data of the employee who was assigned to that report for contact purposes. The outsourcing of Call Centre services and integrating these two systems allowed for lowering the 24/7 claim handling costs.
